Job Title: Dietician Profession: Dietician Specialty: Nutrition Duration: 13 Shift: 08:00-16:30 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Licensed Dietitian in Texas Certifications: Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration Must-Have: Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or equivalent required. Completion of an ACEND-accredited supervised practice program required. Must be willing to work at other facilities in person or remotely. Description: Responsible for timely nutrition screenings and assessments. Perform nutrition-focused physical exams on patients who are at nutritional risk. Identify patients at nutritional risk based on established criteria. Evaluate age-specific, developmental, and disease-specific nutritional needs of patients. Develop and implement individualized nutritional plans of care. Evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of medical nutrition therapy interventions. Identify patient nutrition education needs and provide counseling. Participate in the competency assessment process. Achieve a passing score of 80% or higher on chart audits. Adhere to nutrition care guidelines and protocols. Integrate the Academy Code of Ethics in all areas of practice. Possess a great work ethic and be a team player.
