About us Miller Crane Works is an NCCCO crane operator training and testing school in Seagoville, Texas. Our students train and test on real cranes every week, so our equipment has to be safe, inspected and ready to work every day.

The role We are looking for an experienced crane mechanic to own preventive maintenance of our cranes. You will work independently, keep our equipment compliant and fully documented, and keep classes running without downtime.

What you will do

• Carry out regular preventive maintenance on all cranes and related equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults on crane systems.
• Perform and record inspections to OSHA and manufacturer requirements.
• Maintain all logbooks, inspection records, service records and parts records.
• Flag safety issues, tag out unsafe equipment and report them promptly.
• Order parts and coordinate outside repairs when needed.
• Have cranes ready before each class and test day.

What you bring

• Proven, hands-on experience maintaining cranes, with strong knowledge of both electrical and mechanical crane systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own maintenance schedule.
• Careful, organised record-keeping.
• Your own hand tools and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Preferred: mobile, tower or lattice-boom crane experience; relevant certifications; welding skills.
• A plus: Spanish-speaking (bilingual English/Spanish).

Physical requirements Outdoor work in Texas weather, work at height, climbing, lifting and working in tight spaces.
